Maskeliya (Sri Lanka)

Within Sri Lanka's Central Province is where you'll find the town of Maskeliya. The crash of Martinair Flight 138 in 1974 occurred here, making it the worst aviation accident to ever occur in Sri Lanka. It is famous for its mountains and waterfalls as well as its diverse cultural makeup and estates. The real settlement is constructed over a mix of three separate estates.
